A 1-3/4" screw post is a cost effective and versatile fastener often used to bind loose sheets of paper for presentations, blueprints, journals, portfolios, swatch books, or craft projects. Besides being easy to use they provide a strong and durable hold and flexibility since they can be unscrewed. That flexibility is an advantage when you need to add or remove pages or other materials.

HOW THEY WORK:
A screw post consists of a post (female part) and a screw (male part) that thread together through punched holes in your materials, securing them firmly.
INSTRUCTIONS:
- The post is smooth on the end and your screw will be slotted. Determine which end you want facing up or down and feed the post through the hole in you stacked materials accordingly.
- Align the screw and use your fingers to begin threading the screw onto the post.
- Use a flathead screwdriver to tighten the screw onto the post. You want to tighten to the point of holding the materials in place, but not so tight that you cannot rotate fan out your materials to sort or view a single or multiple pages.
