Extra bond lamination film was developed out of necessity for some of the new digital printing devices. Recently, some of the newer digital printing devices incorporated fuser oil technology to the printing leaving a layer of oil on the substrate. This led to many problems laminating these substrates and the introduction of extra bond lamination film. It is a very aggressive laminate that runs at low temperatures and bonds to the most difficult of situations. Please do an X test on the laminate to test the adhesion quality to the substrate (See: How to do an X test for adhesion to the substrate).
